Introduction & Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how imcuci ("we", "our platform") collect, store, process, use, and protect your personal information when you register an account, make a deposit, place a bet, or use any service provided through the imcuci platform.

Imcuci operates entirely online and is accessible to users in Malaysia. We adhere to internationally recognised data protection principles and ensure that all data processing is carried out lawfully, fairly, and transparently.

By registering an imcuci account or continuing to use our platform, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to how we process your personal data as described herein. If you do not agree, please stop using the imcuci platform and contact us to close your account.

This Privacy Policy applies to all data you provide directly to imcuci, data we collect automatically when you use the platform, and data we receive from legitimate third parties in connection with delivering our services to you.

Personal Data Collected by imcuci

Imcuci collects various categories of personal data depending on how you interact with our platform. Below is a detailed breakdown of the types of data we collect:

Account Registration Data: When you register an imcuci account, we collect your full name, active Malaysian phone number, email address, date of birth (for age verification), and password (stored in hashed form — we cannot read your actual password).

Identity Verification Data: To meet identity verification requirements, imcuci may request a copy of your Malaysian Identity Card (MyKad) or passport. These documents are used solely to verify your identity and age, and are stored with the highest level of security.

Financial & Payment Data: imcuci records transaction-related information including deposit amounts, payment methods used (Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, FPX via Maybank2u or CIMB Clicks), transaction date and time, and transaction reference numbers. We do not store your full bank account number or card details — all payment processing is handled through certified payment providers.

Betting Activity Data: imcuci maintains a complete record of your betting activity, including all bets placed, markets selected, stake amounts, accepted odds, bet outcomes, and wins or losses. This data is required to resolve disputes, meet audit requirements, and calculate your VIP programme benefits.

Technical & Device Data: imcuci automatically collects your IP address, browser type and version, device operating system, screen resolution data, login session details (including date, time and approximate location) and cookie data as described in Section 6.

Imcuci never collects sensitive information such as biometric data, health information, or religious/political affiliations. If you receive any request for such information purportedly from imcuci, please contact us immediately as it may be a fraud attempt.

Imcuci's Data Security Measures

Imcuci continuously invests in security infrastructure to ensure your personal data is always protected to the highest standard. The technical and organisational security measures we have in place include:

  • Transmission Encryption: All communications between your device and imcuci servers are protected by TLS 1.3 — the latest industry-standard encryption protocol, ensuring data in transit cannot be intercepted.
  • Storage Encryption: Sensitive data stored in imcuci's databases is encrypted using AES-256 — the same standard used by financial institutions and government agencies.
  • Access Controls: Only imcuci staff with a legitimate business need are permitted to access member personal data. All such access is logged, monitored and reviewed on a regular basis.
  • 24/7 Security Monitoring: An automated monitoring system operates around the clock to detect unauthorised access attempts, suspicious login patterns, and other potential security threats.
  • Regular Security Testing: imcuci conducts regular penetration testing and security vulnerability assessments through independent cybersecurity firms.
  • Environment Segregation: Production and test data are fully separated to prevent real data from being exposed in development environments.

While imcuci takes all reasonable steps to protect your data, no security system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You are also responsible for keeping your account password safe and not sharing your login credentials with anyone.

Data Retention Period

Imcuci retains your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the original purpose of collection or to meet applicable legal obligations. The following are our data retention guidelines:

  • Active Account Data: For the duration of your active account plus 5 years after account closure, to meet audit requirements and address any disputes that may arise.
  • Financial Transaction Records: A minimum of 7 years from the transaction date, in line with standard financial record-keeping requirements in Malaysia.
  • Identity Verification Documents: Throughout the period the account is active and for 5 years after account closure, subject to applicable AML/CFT legal requirements.
  • Security Log Data: Retained for 2 years for fraud detection and security investigation purposes.
  • Support Communication Data: Retained for 3 years from the date of last interaction for reference and dispute resolution purposes.

Once the applicable retention period has lapsed, your data will be securely deleted or anonymised so that it can no longer be linked back to you as an individual. Deletion is carried out using methods that comply with industry standards to ensure the data cannot be recovered.
